Paprika Cover

Through this collaboration with Zack Robbins and several editors in the school of architecture I was able to explore my interest in language and rhythm in a quick editorial project. The slanted typography is a nod to anamorphic graphics found on road ways, bike lanes, and the fields of high profile international football matches. Instead of images of architecture itself the interior spread focuses on a wider range of deceptive practices found in daily life, ranging from the ubiquitous mercator projection, behind the scenes looks at social media photos, the vile practice of deep fake pornography, and suspect media practices of the current administration. Finally, the title was chosen for its ability to turn into a chant, to rally the troops. Illusion! Deception! Paprika!
